Newborn Packages
Newborn photography is an incredibly rewarding experience for parents—a chance to capture fleeting moments that can never be recreated. Unlike any other type of photography, it preserves the innocence and charm of your baby’s earliest days. They grow so quickly, and this phase is gone before you know it. Don’t wait—book your session now to cherish these memories forever.
Before You Begin
- No matter which newborn package you choose, we take care of everything—professional camera equipment, lighting, props, wraps, and outfits. However, we kindly ask that your baby wears a diaper during the session. If your baby is already used to diapers, this will be no problem. But if your baby has never worn one before, please ensure you have a sufficient supply ready for the shoot. Please note that for hygiene and convenience, a diaper is essential for the photoshoot. Additionally, we kindly emphasize that we do not allow the use of personal outfits for the baby during the newborn session. As part of our service, we provide all necessary outfits and wraps to ensure consistency, professionalism, and alignment with the session’s overall theme. The photoshoot will be conducted exclusively using these carefully selected items. Unfortunately, we cannot proceed if you are uncomfortable with this requirement. Your baby’s comfort is our priority, and we appreciate your understanding.
- We offer two ideal timeframes for newborn photography. The first, and highly recommended, is within the first month after birth, ideally up to 5 weeks old. This is the best time to capture those delicate, sleepy poses and precious early moments. If you’ve missed this window, the next recommended period is between 3-4 months. During this phase, babies are more alert and interactive, making for a different yet equally charming photography experience. However, we do not conduct newborn sessions for babies aged 6 weeks to under 3 months, as this period doesn’t align well with our approach to newborn photography. Similarly, if your baby is over 4 months old, we recommend exploring other types of photography sessions tailored to older infants. If you’re unsure about the right timing, we invite you to read our comprehensive guide to help you make an informed decision about your baby’s photoshoot.
- We want to gently remind you to read the article above carefully. Newborn photography primarily captures the serene beauty of a sleeping baby. Unlike older baby sessions, these photographs rarely feature wide-open smiles or the baby gazing directly at the camera with eyes open. It’s crucial to set realistic expectations about the nature of newborn photoshoots. By reading the article, you’ll gain clarity on what these sessions entail, ensuring you feel confident and well-prepared for this precious experience.
Safety First: Read Carefully
As a mother since August 5, 2022, and the founder of ACubePhotos, my journey with newborn photography began when my baby was just 5 months old. I personally handled my newborn, with the support of my family, without any external help. Why do I mention this? It’s because I truly understand the challenges and nuances of caring for a newborn.
When it comes to your baby’s photoshoot, I treat each baby as my own. I am well-versed in interpreting the cries of newborns – whether it’s due to hunger, discomfort, or simply a need for rest. My experience allows me to calmly and carefully handle your baby, ensuring that they are never rushed or forced into any uncomfortable position. We often wait patiently for your little one to calm down, sometimes for hours, just so we can capture those precious moments when they are ready.
Trust is the cornerstone of our work. I want to assure you that I care for your baby as much as I care for mine. If you have any concerns about the safety of your baby during the photoshoot, I encourage you to share them with me. While some poses may require extra care, we are always cautious and only proceed when it is safe for your baby. We use our experience to adjust poses and ensure your baby’s comfort, avoiding anything that could potentially cause harm.
If there is any doubt in trusting our process, I kindly ask you to consider whether we are the right fit for your photoshoot. Our goal is to provide beautiful and memorable photos while prioritizing your baby’s safety and comfort at all times.
Our Packages
Please click this link to view our official brochure (Rate chart) which is valid till December 31, 2025. To explore more details about our packages, please read on below.
We categorize our work into eight distinct styles. All our newborn packages include four categories by default. For those with a flexible budget, our advanced packages offer a broader range of options and additional features.
1. Digital Setup
A digital setup is a unique approach where the complete scene isn’t visible during the shoot but is masterfully crafted during post-processing. In this setup, your baby is gently wrapped and placed in a basket with matching fur, and the background is artistically transformed later to create a seamless, dream-like composition. This highly recommended setup offers endless possibilities—your baby could appear as a blooming flower, a butterfly spreading its wings, floating with balloons, or as a delightful discovery in a magical garden. The results are truly unmatched and create timeless, imaginative keepsakes.
In all our packages, the digital setup is included as a standard offering. Within your final set of images, we ensure at least four beautifully crafted digital images featuring your baby in at least two different wraps. While the number of digital images may increase depending on the session’s flow, this is not guaranteed.
2. Pastel Setup
In the world of newborn photography, this setup is often referred to as the “beanbag setup.” However, since we currently don’t use a beanbag, we transparently call it the “pastel setup.” The focus of this setup is to create a harmonious pastel shade by matching the background and baby wrap in the same color palette, using minimal props. The primary goal is to capture various delicate poses and expressions of the newborn (typically while sleeping) while highlighting intricate details of their face, hands, and occasionally their feet.
The pastel setup is a standard inclusion in all our newborn photography packages. Based on your preferences and the baby’s gender, we select a single color shade and bring a variety of props to create multiple poses and styles within this theme. Given the intricacy of this setup, it is often the first one we begin with during the photoshoot session to ensure everything is executed perfectly.
3. Family Photographs
Although the session is termed as a newborn session, we are delighted to include family photographs as a part of it. Having conducted over 20 sessions, we’ve observed that new parents and their family members eagerly anticipate this segment of the photoshoot, making it a cherished and memorable experience for everyone involved.
During the family photo session, we set up our own background and recommend parents wear matching or contrasting solid-colored outfits for a cohesive look. While you are welcome to choose any attire from your wardrobe, our top recommendations for colors include jet black, navy blue, scarlet red, or pure white for their timeless appeal. For the baby, we typically use one of our wraps or outfits to ensure consistency with the session’s theme. Depending on the other setups in your session, we’ll select the most suitable outfit for your baby. However, we kindly discourage the use of your own baby outfits for the shoot to maintain visual harmony and professional quality.
Family photographs are included in all of our newborn packages. We often receive inquiries about who is included in these photos, and the answer is simple: any family member, including the baby’s governess. However, to maintain the overall number of edited photos, please note that the more family members involved, the fewer photos we can dedicate to each individual.
For parents and siblings, we typically suggest a variety of posed shots, based on comfort levels. For other family members, such as grandparents, uncles, aunts, and others, we encourage them to pose naturally, and we capture candid moments as they interact with the baby. This way, we ensure that everyone gets a chance to be part of the shoot, while keeping the overall photo count balanced.
While we are happy to capture photographs of everyone present, we encourage limiting the number of people in any single photo, especially considering the focus on the newborn. The ideal combination is one or two family members with the baby — for example, the baby with its parents, or with grandparents, or even the baby with the mother and aunt, or the father and uncle.
If you’d like to include more family members in the frame, please note that we can accommodate a maximum of four adults in a single shot. For larger group photographs, we recommend saving that for special milestones such as the rice ceremony or the first birthday, where we can capture the perfect group shot. If you prefer to include a larger group during the newborn session, we can certainly try, but please understand that we cannot guarantee the quality of each individual in such a photo
4. Setup with Love Bowl
In this setup, we feature the heart-shaped love bowl, an ideal prop to gently cradle a newborn. Surrounded by soft furs, pillows, and baby comfort essentials, we create a serene and magical atmosphere for your little one. Our white heart bowl symbolizes pure love for the newborn, capturing the essence of this beautiful phase. We have crafted various stunning setups using this heart bowl, each one unique and heartwarming. Please visit our gallery to explore more of these delicate and enchanting moments.
In our starting package (Little Love or Mini Session), clients are given the choice between two main props: the love bowl or the newborn bed. We encourage you to explore our newborn bed offering (listed below) to help you decide which prop best suits your vision for the photoshoot.
Please note that we offer one or two setup variations using a specific color combination for the love bowl. Our gallery showcases a range of samples from past sessions, as we enjoy experimenting with new setups. While your setup might closely resemble one from our gallery, we may also introduce something unique just for you, depending on the other setups scheduled for your session. If you have any specific requests or preferences, please feel free to share them with us, and we will do our best to accommodate them.
Still unsure which to choose? We recommend opting for our Elegant Session, where you’ll have the opportunity to capture your little one in both the love bowl and newborn bed. However, if you’re on a tighter budget, we suggest choosing the love bowl, which offers a timeless and classic look.
5. Setup with Newborn Bed
In this setup, we showcase our signature newborn bed, custom-designed to comfortably accommodate babies from newborns to 3 years old. Paired with matching fur, backgrounds, and comforters, this elegant prop adds a timeless and classy touch to every photograph. As one of our oldest and most beloved props, the newborn bed has been featured in numerous unique setups over the years. We invite you to explore our gallery for a closer look at some of these stunning creations.

6. Birth Statistics
Do you remember the milestone card your hospital gave you when they first introduced your newborn? It captured your baby’s height, weight, birth date, and time—a precious keepsake of that unforgettable moment. Later, you chose an adorable name for your little one.
In this setup, we recreate that milestone in a beautifully artistic way. Using a digital setup, we incorporate your baby’s birth statistics (like height, weight, etc.) into one of our thoughtfully designed virtual backgrounds, customized with your baby’s details. The result? A stunning and timeless creation. Take a look below to see for yourself!
In our Elegant and Signature sessions, the Birth Statistics photo is included as a part of the package. We provide one customized Birth Statistics photo, with the color palette carefully chosen to complement the other setups from your session.
Please note, however, that the Birth Statistics photo is not included in our Mini Session (Little Love) package and cannot be added as an optional feature for the same.

How Do Our Packages Compare?
Before anything else, I want to assure you that every session—regardless of the package you choose—receives the same heartfelt dedication, professional-grade equipment, and careful attention to detail.
The difference lies only in the number of setups and the variety offered—not in the quality of work, the love with which it’s done, or the promise I make to you as both a photographer and a fellow parent. My commitment to creating a warm, safe, and beautiful experience for your little one always remains the same.
To start with, first refer to the below comparison chart.
All of our newborn photography packages are thoughtfully designed to offer variety while ensuring the comfort and safety of your baby at every step.
Our Little Love Session includes 4 beautifully curated setups. The Elegant Session features 6 unique setups, and our Signature Session offers a full experience with 8 distinctive setups—each styled with warmth, softness, and care.
Since newborns follow their own natural rhythm, the duration of each session may vary. Based on our experience:
The Little Love Session typically takes around 2–3 hours
The Elegant Session usually runs for 3–4 hours
The Signature Session, being more extensive, may take 5–6 hours
As a mother myself, I understand how important it is to listen to our little ones. That’s why our sessions are never rushed. We take frequent, gentle breaks—allowing time for feeding, soothing, cuddles, and rest—ensuring that your baby remains relaxed, happy, and comfortable throughout the session.
If you’re unsure which package is the best fit for you, we’ve made it easier by creating a dedicated blog post that explains each and every part of our official rate chart in clear detail. From the number of setups and session duration to what’s included in each package, everything is thoughtfully broken down to help you make an informed decision that suits your family’s needs and preferences. F.A.Q.
Answers to common questions that clients always have
We recommend scheduling your newborn session within the first 3 to 4 weeks after birth, when babies are still naturally sleepy and easy to pose. Please read this article to know more about it.
We usually prefer to do the session at the client’s home, as it provides a familiar and comfortable environment for both the baby and parents—especially since vaccinations may not have been administered yet. However, as a mother myself, I take every possible care to ensure a safe, soothing space in our home studio, which is always ready to welcome your little one. If you’re able to visit us, you’ll have access to our full collection of exclusive props and setups. For home sessions, we’ll plan ahead and bring a carefully selected set of props based on your selected package.
At ACubePhotos, we take care of everything you need for your newborn session—whether it’s held at your home or in our home studio. From wraps, dresses, props, and accessories to professional lighting and equipment, we bring or provide it all to ensure a smooth and beautiful experience. You don’t need to worry about arranging anything except one simple request: please make sure your baby is wearing a diaper, and we’ll handle the rest with love, care, and attention to every little detail.
The official photo count for each session is clearly mentioned in our brochure or rate chart, and we always state the minimum number you can expect—just to be on the safer side. However, as this is a memory you’ll treasure for a lifetime, we make it a point to share all the photos that turn out well, beyond the promised count. And the best part? We professionally edit all of them, ensuring every image you receive is polished and beautiful. In fact, we almost always deliver far more than what’s mentioned—because we believe your baby’s story deserves to be told in full.
While soft copies are wonderful for sharing and preserving memories digitally, there’s something truly special about holding a beautifully crafted album in your hands—an heirloom that can be cherished for years to come.
That said, we understand that creating a newborn album may not always be practical, especially if you’ve chosen the Little Love Session, which includes fewer setups. For a more complete and fulfilling album experience, we typically recommend the Signature Session, as it offers the depth and variety best suited for a full-length newborn album.
However, we also believe that memories can be beautifully woven together over time. If you’re mindful of your budget or prefer to wait, a wonderful alternative is to create a combined album later—perhaps blending your newborn session with your baby’s first birthday, rice ceremony, or even a milestone journey of the first year. This way, you get to tell a richer, fuller story of your baby’s earliest days, in one meaningful keepsake.
If you’re unsure which package is the best fit for you, we’ve made it easier by creating a dedicated blog post that explains each and every part of our official rate chart in clear detail.
